Mackens Semerzier, better known as Mack "Da Menace" to the MMA world, is a fast rising star in the featherweight division on the east coast.  "Menace" as he likes to be called is a vicious striker, tenacious wrestler, and super slick submission fighter.  He prides himself on his work ethic, attention to detail, and stead fast adherence to the basics.  Starting his combative career in Florida in 1994 as a high school wrestling standout in 1999, he finished second in the AAU High School Wrestling National Tournament.  He then turned his sights to a lifelong dream, and joined the United States Marine Corps.  While in the Corps, he picked up boxing and placed second in the Virginia Golden Gloves Open Division. Still thirsting for more knowledge and skill, he became a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor.  But there was still a void and the thirst to compete again arose, so "Da Menace" joined LINXX Academy of Martial Arts in Virginia Beach, VA.  LINXX Academy of Martial Arts has a reputation for producing a number of skilled and successful fighters.  He was presented with his Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt by Pedro Sauer January of 2008, with less than two years of training. "Da Menace" is a very active grappling competitor winning 50+ matches to only 5 defeats. He quickly showed that he had the skill and drive to compete in MMA after helping teammates get ready for their fights.  His first fight was in the summer of 2007 were he defeated the reigning WKA champion.  He then moved to the Cagefest circuit and dominated there also winning a the Cagefest Title on the way.  He has defeated all but one of his opponents by submission or knock out.  Mack Da Menace is an extremely talented fighter as seen on his television appearances. So keep your eyes open and don't blink, it might be over that fast.
