Hard work and persistence, not to mention having devastating knockout power, has led Antwain Britt to an opportunity of a lifetime. Britt recently signed a ten fight deal with Strikeforce, joining the ranks of Renato Babalu, Gegard Mousasi, and Kevin Randleman in Strikeforce's stable of light-heavy weight fighters. Antwain recently competed in an eight-man tournament in Aruba going 2-1. At the Shine: Genesis event, Britt scored a eight second knockout of former UFC fighter, Antonio Mendes. Antwain goes into Strikeforce with an impressive record of 11-3 and will surely be a force inside the Strikeforce cage. |

In one of the biggest upsets in MMA this year, Mackens Semerzier defeated rising WEC star and former IFL featherweight champion Wagnney Fabiano with a triangle choke with three minutes and forty six seconds remaining during their bout at WEC 43 in San Antonio, Texas. Menace, took the fight on only two weeks notice, but bested Fabiano, a third-degree black belt in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and ranked 11th in the world as a featherweight, at his own game. When asked about whether he would've preferred to keep the fight standing Semerzier replied, Definitely. In every fight you'd rather be on the top than the bottom. I definitely did not want to be on the bottom. Initially (when Fabiano took him down) I went into auto-pilot(wec.com). The purple belt, under instruction from Frank Cucci and Pedro Sauer, locked in the triangle when Fabiano rose to his feet, but left his head down giving Semerzier the opportunity he needed to seal the victory. Congratulations to Mackens and best of luck as he looks to take the WEC by storm. |

| " so many guys out there to fight, for the life of me I can't figure out why guys keep backing out of my fights. In the past year I have had four top tier guys say NO to the Juggernaut and it's starting to burn my ass, not like a rash, but more like a heat lamp on a bare bottom." |
